Just Piddlin Farm Field Trip 2020
Just Piddlin Farm offers an educational experience and a fun filled day that students will enjoy. We focus primarily on ages pre-K through 3rd grade. We can modify our curriculum for special needs groups.
We want students to observe the farm setting and educate the importance of farm life and agriculture by the experiences and activities that we do at JPF.
What is Included:
How pumpkins are planted
Different varieties of pumpkins, gourds & squash
Importance of honeybees
Touch/feel different produce
View an observation bee hive
Jobs of different types of honeybees
See beekeeping equipment
Hayride to pumpkin patch
Pick his/her own pie pumpkin from the patch
Shell an ear of field corn
See farm animals
Get a honeystick as a treat
Merry go round type spinner
Netted corn box
Climb the straw tower
Field trips will be available September 14-30 and October 12-30 on a first come basis. We will NOT be having scheduled trips during the common week of Fall Break (October 5-9)
We will work with your group to develop at start time with each outing lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. We also have indoor and outdoor accommodations with seating for lunch if you choose to bring a sack lunch with your group.
$7.00/per child (includes tour, honeystick, and pie pumpkin)
$5.00/per child (includes tour and honeystick)
No charge for teachers, chaperones, bus drivers to attend tour (any produce will be extra charge)
We accept cash, major credit cards, school checks, Venmo and purchase orders. Please bring a copy of your tax exemption form or email to JPF.
