School Tours & Club Outings

We invite you to bring your group to visit our farm and pumpkin patch this fall in where Warren, Simpson and Logan County meet. During the visit, the children will learn about how the pumpkins are planted and cared for throughout the season.

We talk about the different varieties of pumpkins, gourds and squash we grow on the farm. We discuss the importance of honey bees and look at the bee hives at a safe distance and up close at the observation hive. We will take the group on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch where they will have fun picking their own pumpkin from the patch. We try to make sure everyone has a safe, fun, educational visit to the farm.

We do have space available for lunch if you choose to eat at the farm. Depending on the weather we can eat inside the heated shop or out in the open barn with the pumpkins.

The usual tour last about 1 – 1 ½ hours but can customize to fit your needs.

We charge $5.00 per person – this includes the above tour, kid’s pumpkin, and refreshments. Teachers or group leaders are not charged and only pay for what they select. Minimum charge $50 per group.
